How Official FPL Clash 2026/27 works, what it costs, and where the money goes.
Anyone with a Fantasy Premier League team. FPL Clash is run by and for the Malaysian FPL community, but there's no restriction on where you live — you need an FPL Entry ID and a Google account to sign in.
You do need a Malaysian mobile number on your profile, because that's how the admin contacts winners about monthly awards and prize delivery.
No. Creating a membership is free and gets you a membership ID, a profile, and access to the league table, knockout bracket and awards pages. You only pay when you want to actually enter a team into the competition.
Yes — up to 5 teams on one account. Each team needs its own entry pass, and the same FPL team can't be entered twice in a season.
Yes, and you won't be penalised for it. We read each team's own gameweek history from the FPL API, so you're scored from gameweek 1 no matter when you redeem your pass.
The Classic League is cumulative net points across the whole season — the standard FPL table. The Clash Knockout is a 32-team single-elimination bracket seeded from that table after GW32, then decided one gameweek at a time through to the final.
Every score we use is net of transfer hits. If you take a −4, it counts against you in both the league table and the knockout. We wait for FPL to finalise a gameweek — bonus points applied — before recording anything, so provisional scores never decide a result.
The better overall FPL rank that gameweek wins, then fewer transfers made, then the higher seed. Every tiebreak is logged, so a result can always be explained.
It's recommended but not required. Our scoring reads your team's history directly from the FPL API, so it works either way — joining the classic league just means everyone can see the live table in the official app.
Membership is free. An entry pass — which puts one FPL team in the competition for the whole season — is RM 25 for your first team and RM 20 for each additional team, up to 5. So three teams bought one at a time is RM 65. The bundles on the Play Now page work out cheaper.
One-off, per season. There's no recurring charge and nothing to cancel. A pass covers that team for the full season; a new season needs a new pass.
Yes. Entry codes are transferable until they're redeemed, so you can buy a spare and give it to a friend. Once redeemed against an FPL team it's locked to that team for the season.
No — entry passes are non-refundable, redeemed or not. An unredeemed code doesn't expire early though: it stays valid for the whole season, so you can redeem it whenever you like, or pass it to someone else who will. See clause 4 of the Terms & Conditions.
No. The prize pool is put up in full by our sponsors, led by GrandEes. Not one ringgit of the prize money comes from what members pay to enter.
This separation is deliberate. Entry fees pay to run the platform; prizes are sponsorship. The two are not pooled, and the prize pool does not grow or shrink with the number of entries.
Running costs, and nothing else:
FPL Clash keeps a permanent record of every gameweek. The official FPL site wipes per-gameweek data at season rollover, so this archive is the only durable history of the competition — and keeping it online is an ongoing cost.
We can't issue a religious ruling, and we won't pretend to. What we can do is be completely transparent about how the money moves, so you can judge for yourself or ask someone qualified:

Monthly awards are settled once the month's gameweeks are finalised; season and knockout prizes after the final gameweek. The admin contacts winners by phone or WhatsApp as well as email — which is why the mobile number on your profile needs to be one you actually use.

Google sign-in is the only login method. It means there's no password for us to store or for you to lose, and it keeps account security with Google rather than with us.
Other signed-in members can see your display name, team names and results. Your email, phone number, address and FPL Entry ID are never shown to anyone else. Signed-out visitors see team names only.
The Terms & Conditions set out eligibility, entries, payment, scoring, prizes, fair play and how your data is handled. You accept them in your profile before redeeming your first code.
Yes, from your profile settings. Deleting removes your profile and personal details. Results already recorded for a completed season stay in the competition history, so past standings remain accurate.
